Tae Kwon Do is good for your mind

Patience
Students are encouraged to be patient with one another as they learn the valuable skills of cooperation and group work.
Respect
Respect of parents, elders, instructors, and ther students is highly valued. Respect for all living things is cherished. Students address their Instructors using the words sir" or "ma'am".
Concentration
Students learn to concentrate by meditating before each class. This gives students a chance to think about what they will be doing in class and how well they plan to do it.
Tae Kwon Do is good for your body

Flexibility
Students increase their flexibility by stretching during every class. This decreases the possibility of injury.
Physical Fitness
Students are encouraged to improve upon their personal best, strive to kick higher, move faster, and develop more power.
Self-Defense
Students learn to defend themselves against various forms of attack. It is emphasized as defense and is not to be used as offense.
